The Call

The paper work was so much more work than I thought it was going to be.  It took FOREVER.  Austin's goal was to have it all finished by December, I think we started it the end of October.  Well it took us all of November and December to finish it.  Finally the day after Christmas Austin gets a text from the Stake President and he says the paper work is sent off!!  We are on our way to California for a week and we are wondering how long does it take?  Is it a few weeks, two weeks, a month.  The anticipation is killing us.
Finally on January 6 I'm leaving the house and I drive past the mail box and there is a giant white envelope sticking out!  Its here! Its here! I leave the car in the road and run to the house to show Randy and tell him to get the house ready, we are having people over tonight!

That night several people asked me how I felt about his call. To be honest I felt like it was right, like I should have known all along that the Belgium/Netherlands mission was where he was going.  Although the thought had never once crossed my mind.  I felt comfort and peace that this was and is what he is supposed to be doing.  That night before bed I read in
D&C 6:23
Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?

I felt as though Heavenly Father was telling me, Hey Tari you know that feeling you had when Austin opened his call?  Yea that's the peace I'm talking about.  This is all from me.  I know where he is supposed to go and I will help him along the way.
